Congrats to Jess and Tom on their elegant Carriage House wedding this past weekend here in Charleston! Tom and Jess were surrounded by friends and family on their wedding day having lots of laughs throughout the day. They also got a surprise visit from an unexpected guest during the ceremony. It was one of the resident peacocks that roams the property on this lovely Charleston plantation. ELM Events put together a beautiful reception space despite the threat of rain and storms. Jess wanted a light and airy feel with a neutral and blush color palette as well as lots of greenery. The lounge space was adorned with textured pillows in neutral and blush shades. The table linens were also a textured pattern in a delicious neutral color. The Carriage House was the perfect setting for a long farmhouse table, which was draped with a gorgeous silk runner and lots of greenery, candles, and florals. The first look between Tom and Jess was so sweet. Tom was overcome with emotion when he turned around and saw her in this incredible gown by Sarah Nouri! Also, I love it when brides incorporate family heirlooms into their wedding day. Jessica wore her great grandmother’s earrings. It adds such a sentimental touch to the day. And despite the morning rains, the rest of the day was just perfection. I couldn’t be more happy for this sweet couple! Congrats guys!
